Propertymash Review: Cerulean, Boutique Apartments in Main Beach
Offering glimpses of the bright blue Pacific Ocean or the Nerang River from most rooms in the property on levels three and up, Cerulean is aptly named. North facing, these apartments have been cleverly designed to make the most of the prevailing breeze and also take in the views of the ocean to the east and river to the west. The views should be protected as the lot to the north has another building’s tennis courts on it, which in theory won’t be built on, and the river is on the other side.
- Cerulean is a development of 27 apartments over 15 levels
- Three (3) bedroom apartments available with river or ocean views from $1.215
- Two master bedrooms
- Plumbed gas barbecues on balconies
- Soon to be under construction, with expected completion in early 2019
THE PROJECT:
Cerulean is a boutique development at Main Beach with only 27 apartments over 15 levels. The beachside development is being marketed toward owner-occupiers due to this. As there are only two apartments per level, buyers can choose between a three (3) bedroom river apartment or a three (3) bedroom ocean apartment. Apartments start from $1.215, which according to the developer is the lowest price per square metre of any new apartments available in Main Beach. One great aspect of this development is that they are willing to customise the floor plans – some buyers have already converted the third bedroom to a multi-purpose room.
So far, everyone who has bought an apartment is going to be an owner-occupier. This bodes well for anyone else looking to buy if they want to be part of what we are sure will be a very friendly community there. It’s also a little different for the area, as, at only 27 apartments, Cerulean is much smaller than almost every surrounding apartment block, and most of these apartments are owned but rented out throughout the year.
